Chicken Pepper Fry (Winter Recipe)

With the onset of winter, catching a cold is quite common. When we were youug my mother would prepare this recipe. It is best served with a hot bowl of chicken soup. This free recipe is easy to prepare and quick. In case you need a little gravy uou can add water and bring it to simmer. Enjoy this recipe this winter.


1 small Chicken
Onions 2 big
Curry Leaves a few
Salt to taste
Oil 3 tbsp

For grinding

Turmeric 1/2 tsp
Chilli Powder 1 tsp
Peppercorn 2 tsp
Cumin 1 tsp
Ginger 2.5 inch
Garlic 8 flakes


1. Washed chicken pieces and cook in half a cup of water, adding salt and the ground spices till tender.
2. Fry chopped onions and Curry leaves in oil till golden brown.
3. And the cooked chicken and fry for five minutes.
